When she was born the vet said Ara had "saved her best till last"

Kaylifa's foals

Kaylifa's first foal is Zayfire Aramis

He is by Zafeen who won at Royal Ascot.

Worcester & Leicester chase winner

Berlief Aramis is Kaylifa's second foal.  He is by sprinter Bertolini and is very different to his half brother Zayfire.  The two of them get on really well and spent most of their time in the field play fighting and practising galloping.

The Kayf Aramis Story - against all odds

Kayf Aramis was born in a cow shed at 9.30am on Saturday 27th April 2002 with the farmer and his family watching over the door.  His dam Ara, a riding horse bought for £1000 took 12 months exactly to produce her first very small foal.

Young Kayfi loved to run and was soon careering around the field with his dam in hot pursuit.

He was weaned with a pony companion and lived in an old orchard with fresh water from a stream.

Cheltenham Festival winner

Kayf Aramis won at the Dante Festival at York and at the Cheltenham Festival
